Welcome to the Electronic Submission and Evaluation System (ESES) of the FOREST Partnership Joint Call 2026: FOREST Pathways

This is the first call for proposals launched by the European Partnership Forests, forestry, and the forest-based sector: Research and innovation for a Sustainable Transition – FOREST. It will fund transnational research and innovation projects addressing key challenges regarding the transition to a sustainable use of forest resources and a circular, timber-based, bioeconomy across four selected topics (see call text).

If you would like to submit a proposal, please follow the steps below.

1. Go to Coordinator Registration to register as a coordinator for the Joint Call 2026. After successful registration, you will receive an email containing a link to activate your account. Using the login name and password created during registration, you can now proceed to the next step.

2. Once you have registered, you can access the Coordinator Login section via the menu bar. Here you can invite partners and provide the information requested for the submission of your pre-proposal. You can log in at any time before the submission deadline to complete or revise the information you have entered. Please note that partners must login via the Partner Login section in order to provide their partner specific information.

3. The pre-proposal is composed by the project data, which the coordinator and the partners provide online, as well as documents that have to be uploaded.  By clicking Validation, you can view information at any time about any missing information required for submission. To complete your submission please click on Submission and follow the instructions. You can resubmit your proposal at any time if necessary.
