TOPIC 2 – Adaptive and Multifunctional Forest Management Systems
Wozify Engineering Group Kft. (Astro42) is interested in joining a consortium under Topic 2 – Adaptive and Multifunctional Forest Management Systems as a technology partner specialising in Earth Observation, geospatial software, environmental data integration and AI-supported decision-support systems.
We can contribute to the development of digital monitoring, assessment and planning tools that support adaptive forest management. Our expertise includes integrating satellite and environmental datasets, building geospatial platforms and dashboards, developing data processing workflows and translating complex environmental information into operational decision-support tools.
We are particularly interested in projects developing practical monitoring and planning solutions, predictive or data-driven decision-support tools, digital innovations for forest management, and scalable approaches that can be transferred across different regions and environmental conditions.
Our relevant experience includes our work with SpaceCrop, where satellite data, weather information and AI-generated metrics are integrated into a digital platform supporting farmers with data-driven irrigation decisions. In addition, through the LunaSpace project, we developed an automated, data-driven SaaS platform for satellite mission operations, including telemetry processing, visualisation and AI-supported scheduling. Together, these projects demonstrate our ability to convert satellite and environmental data into practical, scalable monitoring, planning and decision-support tools, which is directly transferable to adaptive forest management applications. https://astro42.com/case-studies/
Wozify Engineering Group Kft. (Astro42) is a Hungarian Earth Observation and AI technology company (SME) providing satellite-data processing, geospatial AI, automated change detection and decision-support solutions.
Relevant experience includes satellite-based vegetation and land monitoring, AI-supported geospatial analytics, environmental monitoring platforms, data-driven resource-management tools and scalable satellite-data software platforms. Our references include:
- SpaceCrop: digital platform integrating satellite data, weather forecasts and AI-generated metrics to support farmers with data-driven irrigation decisions.
- LunaSpace: automated, data-driven SaaS platform for small satellite constellation operations, including telemetry processing, orbit visualisation and AI-supported scheduling.
- Toshka Project (Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture): large-area satellite and geospatial monitoring of agricultural land using PlanetScope imagery, NDVI-based vegetation health analysis, supervised classification and an AI model, with a decision-support dashboard for policy makers.
- MELT-B (ESA): processing of high-resolution thermal satellite imagery with geospatial analysis and AI-based assessment, delivering a scalable decision-support system for urban energy efficiency.
- SensFish seagrass monitoring platform: contribution to engineering and implementation components of an ecosystem monitoring platform, including integration of satellite EO and environmental data, data ingestion and harmonisation, geospatial visualisation and monitoring dashboards.
These projects provide transferable experience for forest management applications such as digital monitoring and planning tools, predictive and data-driven decision-support, multi-source environmental data integration and scalable geospatial platforms. https://astro42.com/case-studies/
