We are interested in joining a consortium, particularly to apply and develop our technologies within the context of climate-resilient and adaptive forest management (Topics 1 and 2). We can offer expertise and solutions in the following areas:

- Eco-friendly sensors: For continuous, in situ monitoring of ecosystem processes and soil health in forest ecosystems.
- Hyperspectral imaging: For advanced measurement, monitoring and assessment, and early detection of biotic and abiotic stressors.
- Edge AI: For real-time data processing directly at the point of measurement (e.g. on sensors or drones), enabling operational digital innovations without cloud connectivity.

We are open to integrating our sensor and imaging technologies with predictive models, silvicultural systems, or decision support tools developed by partners in forestry and ecological research.

At Fraunhofer IMS, we specialize in cutting-edge research and development, focusing on high-performance sensors and embedded AI. Among others, we have successfully secured funding for a GEH project (FarmScan) in the second call, enabling remote field analysis via decomposable soil sensors and providing farmers with AI-based decision support.
