Evotec is seeking partners for a coordinated development and validation project led by Evotec around the UKT Evo multifunctional forestry tractor platform. We are looking for expertise in structural optimisation and weight reduction, control software and HMI simplification, measurement and evaluation of wheel slip and its impact on soil disturbance and fuel consumption, overall energy-efficiency assessment, forestry field validation, and prototype and future series production. We are also interested in partners for evaluating plug-in hybridisation and electric power boosting to increase peak machine performance while retaining a compact 55 kW diesel engine. Evotec will provide the overall vehicle concept, system architecture, mechanical development, TRACS traction technology, protected winching solutions and project coordination.
