Edinburgh Genetics is interested in joining a consortium as a genomics, metagenomics and bioinformatics partner supporting research on climate-resilient forests, forest biodiversity and forest health.

We are particularly interested in complementing consortia with expertise in forest ecology, field experiments, long-term monitoring, forest genetics, pathology, climate modelling and decision-support tools. We can contribute to experimental design, sample-to-result laboratory workflows, assay development, genomic data analysis and interpretation.

We would welcome discussions about the most appropriate participation route, including subcontracting where permitted by the relevant national funding rules.

We are a contract research organisation providing customised genomic laboratory and bioinformatics services for academic, public-sector and industrial research. We support research involving plants, animals, microorganisms, microbiomes and environmental DNA, developing laboratory and analytical workflows tailored to the requirements of each project.

We have worked with leading research institutions and contributed genomic laboratory services to numerous national and European projects, processing hundreds of thousands of samples. Through our established research network, we can also help identify and introduce potential collaborators with complementary expertise for consortium development.
