TOPIC 2 – Adaptive and Multifunctional Forest Management Systems
We are offering the Municipality of Sant'Arsenio (Southern Italy, Campania Region) as a "Living Lab" and Pilot Site for consortia applying to the ForestPathways Joint Call. We provide direct access to Mediterranean public forest areas perfectly suited for testing and validating adaptive forest management systems, IoT/drone monitoring technologies, and new governance models.
We are looking to join a transnational consortium led by a strong Coordinator or Research Institution. Additionally, our local team (supported by senior EU project managers) can lead or contribute to Work Packages related to local stakeholder engagement, socio-economic impact assessment, and project management/financial reporting. We can participate as an Associated Partner, Subcontractor, or through a partnered Italian Research Institution.
The Municipality of Sant'Arsenio is a local public authority located in the Vallo di Diano area (Campania, Italy), a territory characterized by significant agro-forestry and mountainous landscapes. The administration is highly committed to the ecological transition, rural development, and the sustainable management of its natural heritage.
The municipality is technically assisted by a specialized EU Funding consulting firm with extensive experience in direct EU grants (e.g., CERV, Horizon) and international project management, ensuring smooth communication, reliable financial reporting, and effective local implementation for the Lead Applicant.
