We are seeking partners for a transnational project on forest resilience, regeneration and forest reproductive material. We offer expertise in microbiology, phytopathology, plant physiology, beneficial microorganisms, biological preparations and SMART monitoring. Our contribution may include forest seed health assessment, detection of seed-borne pathogens, biological treatment development, laboratory and field testing, physiological measurements and digital monitoring. We are interested in joining a transnational consortium as a research partner under Topic 2. We offer expertise in microbiological plant protection, beneficial microorganisms, biological preparations, plant physiology, phytopathology, entomology, and SMART monitoring technologies.
Our proposed contribution includes the selection and testing of biological preparations against forest pests and pathogens; physiological monitoring of plants; laboratory and field assessment of biological efficacy; integration of sensors, smart traps, drones, and digital data analysis; and the development of preventive and adaptive plant protection strategies.
We are seeking cooperation with universities, research organisations, forest managers, public authorities, technology providers, SMEs, and other partners working in forest health, adaptive forest management, biological control, digital monitoring, remote sensing, and decision-support system
Moldova State University, through the Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection, conducts research in plant physiology, genetics, phytopathology, microbiology, biotechnology and environmentally friendly plant protection. The research team develops and evaluates biological preparations based on beneficial bacteria and fungi. The Institute can contribute to forest seed health testing, pathogen identification, biological control, plant physiological assessment, SMART monitoring, data analysis, field validation and dissemination of project results.
