TOPIC 3 – Timber and Innovative Wood-Based Products
Gamateks is seeking an experienced project coordinator and consortium to join the FORESTPathways Joint Call 2026 as an industrial R&D and pilot manufacturing partner under Topic 3.
We are interested in developing textile applications for innovative wood-derived materials, including cellulosic fibres, lignin-based formulations and functional textile treatments. Our interests include improving material performance, exploring alternatives to fossil-based textile materials, and developing more sustainable manufacturing processes.
Gamateks can contribute through circular and warp knitting, dyeing and finishing trials, fabric development, garment prototyping, and validation under industrial conditions. We are open to shaping our contribution around the consortium’s research objectives.
We welcome contact from universities, research institutes and companies preparing a proposal and looking for a textile manufacturing partner. Please share a brief project outline, the planned consortium composition, its preparation status, and the potential role for Gamateks. We would be pleased to arrange an introductory meeting to explore collaboration.
Gamateks is a large-scale textile manufacturer based in Denizli, Türkiye, with an established R&D centre and integrated capabilities in circular knitting, warp knitting, dyeing, finishing and garment manufacturing.
Our R&D activities focus on fabric development, functional textiles, sustainable materials and production processes. We can connect laboratory research with industrial manufacturing by providing textile processing expertise, pilot trials, product development and performance evaluation.
For FORESTPathways, we aim to contribute as an industrial partner supporting the development and validation of innovative forest-based materials for textile applications.
