TOPIC 2 – Adaptive and Multifunctional Forest Management Systems
GMT Company has developed SARVIK Forest Intel, an AI-based forest intelligence platform that combines forest, weather, climate, satellite, LiDAR and spatial data into explainable forest management decision support. We are looking for research, technology and demonstration partners to validate, scientifically assess, calibrate and further develop the platform in real forest environments.
We are particularly interested in cooperation on adaptive forest management, climate resilience, remote sensing, Sentinel-2, LiDAR/3D forest data, forest monitoring, forest risk assessment and decision-support systems.
We are open to consortium roles where SARVIK provides the technology and demonstrator while research partners contribute scientific expertise, validation and research methodology.
GMT Company is a Finnish SME developing SARVIK Forest Intel, an AI-based forest intelligence platform for adaptive forest management and decision support. SARVIK integrates heterogeneous forest and environmental data, including forest inventory data, weather and climate data, Sentinel-2 satellite observations, LiDAR and spatial data, into an explainable forest intelligence workflow.
The platform is already developed as a working demonstrator. GMT Company is interested in international research and innovation cooperation to validate, calibrate and further develop SARVIK in real forest environments, together with research organisations, forestry experts, technology partners and demonstration sites.
