TOPIC 2 – Adaptive and Multifunctional Forest Management Systems
Łukasiewicz - ILOT is looking for partners working on sustainable and adaptive forest management. We aim to contribute advanced geospatial technologies for forest inventory, species classification, ecosystem monitoring, decision-support systems, digital platforms, and AI-driven analyses supporting evidence-based forest management under changing environmental and climate conditions.
Łukasiewicz - ILOT provides research and technology services in remote sensing, photogrammetry, GIS, artificial intelligence for spatial analysis, and environmental data integration. The institute develops dedicated mapping portals, real-time monitoring solutions, decision-support systems, and custom multi-sensor platforms. Our capabilities include high-resolution satellite and airborne data acquisition, LiDAR surveys, spectral analysis, object-based image analysis (GEOBIA), computer vision, and advanced geospatial visualization supporting agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, and land management applications.
