We offer applied AI capabilities to research consortia working on forest monitoring, management and value chains, either as a technology partner or as a subcontractor for well-defined AI tasks.

What we can contribute:
- Computer vision on satellite, aerial (drone) and ground imagery: forest cover and species mapping, disturbance and damage detection (storms, pests, fire), change detection.
- Time series analysis and forecasting: forest health indicators, growth, risk and climate-related signals from sensor, satellite and inventory data; anomaly detection and early warning.
- Optimisation: harvest and management planning, resource allocation, logistics and supply chain optimisation for forest-based value chains.
- Agentic AI and decision support: assistants that combine models, data and expert knowledge to support forest managers and policy makers, with human oversight.
- Responsible and secure AI: trustworthy AI by design, EU AI Act alignment, data governance and information security (ENS High, ISO 27001).

We can take care of the full AI pipeline: data preparation, model development, validation against field data, and deployment of usable tools (dashboards, APIs). We are looking for consortia led by research organisations, universities or forest-sector organisations that need strong applied AI and software capacity to turn research into operational tools (TRL 4-7).
