Our company Prime Invest Plc is an investment & business consultant and currently engaged in the Bamboo Engineered wood & pellets production project in Ethiopia. We would like to collaborate and participate in the potential consurtium as an associated third country partner on Topic-03 "Timber and Innovative Wood-Based Products"

Ethiopia possesses the largest bamboo resource in Africa, 1.4 million hectares, accounting for 67% of the contenent’s stock, and ranking 10th globally. Yet industries remain underdeveloped and rely heavily on imports of plywood and boards valued at Annual Average 20.9 million USD, & Global Market Size Forecast is projected to reach US$31.2 Billion by 2030.
Our project addresses this gap by converting the abundant and regenerative bamboo resources into durable, high-quality bamboo engineered woods for furniture, construction, flooring & decking sectors for both domestic (30%) and export (70%) market. In addition, production waste and bamboo forage biomass are transformed into clean energy source pellets, advancing a circular economy model that reduces emissions and provides affordable energy for householder and industrial users.
