TOPIC 2 – Adaptive and Multifunctional Forest Management Systems
We are interested in collaborations in basic and applied research related to pheromone-based forest pest management. We welcome partnerships with European research institutions, forestry organisations, and industrial partners developing interdisciplinary projects under Topic 2.
We can contribute expertise in pheromone identification, biosynthesis, chemical analysis, electrophysiology, insect behavioural studies, semiochemical formulation, monitoring, and mass trapping of invasive forest pests.
Lund University is a leading university in Sweden with strong expertise in ecology and environmental sustainability. QS ranking #1 in Sustainability.
Our research group specialises in insect chemical ecology, analytical chemistry, chemoreception and pheromone biosynthesis. We are well equipped for pheromone related research, including molecular biology, gene functional assay, analytical chemistry (GC-MS), electrophysiology, and insect behavioural studies (flight tunnel).
