WWF Italy is interested in cooperating on the development and implementation of adaptive and multifunctional forest management systems that enhance forest resilience to climate change, reduce wildfire risk, and support forest restoration and sustainable forest management. Key areas of interest include climate-smart forestry, biodiversity conservation, the protection of old-growth forests, sustainable forest certification, and the enhancement of urban forests. Through collaboration, WWF Italy aims to promote nature-based solutions, ecosystem resilience, and forest management approaches that reconcile ecological integrity, climate adaptation, and the long-term provision of ecosystem services.

WWF Italy (WWF Italia ETS) is an independent, non-profit environmental organization founded in 1966 and part of the global WWF network.
