TOPIC 1 – Climate-Resilient Forest Systems
We are interested in joining a consortium addressing Topic 1, particularly where the project requires strong societal, stakeholder and transition perspectives alongside forest and environmental expertise. Savonia University of Applied Sciences’ Sustainable Societies team can contribute expertise in sustainable transition pathways, impact pathways, co-creation, stakeholder engagement, social acceptance and behavioural aspects (SSH). We are particularly interested in collaboration that explores how stakeholders and communities can be engaged in developing, testing and supporting the uptake of solutions for more climate-resilient forest ecosystems.
Savonia University of Applied Sciences is a Finnish higher education and applied RDI organisation with extensive experience in national and European collaborative projects. Through its Sustainable Societies research field, Savonia works with companies, public organisations, communities and research partners to advance sustainable transitions. The team contributes expertise in co-creation, stakeholder engagement, SSH perspectives, social acceptance, business modelling and impact pathways.
