Shared Planet is interested in joining a consortium as a partner/sub-contractor. We offer expertise in desk-based and market research, stakeholder mapping and engagement, and strategy, roadmap and toolkit development across nature restoration, climate action, ecosystem conservation, agroforestry, forest landscape restoration and forest financing.
Our services include insights-led research and policy analysis, translating complex policy frameworks into accessible insights for diverse audiences; developing evidence-based advocacy positions; identifying, documenting and communicating best practice examples of climate and nature action; creating practical guidance tools and frameworks to operationalise commitments to climate and nature; supporting multi-stakeholder engagement and coalition building; evaluating conservation and restoration initiatives; conducting environmental baseline assessments to establish the ecological, social and policy context for conservation and restoration initiatives.
Established in July 2019, Shared Planet is a research and stakeholder engagement consultancy based in London, with a global operating presence. We translate the complexity of climate and nature research and policy into clear, actionable outputs, helping organisations identify the stakeholders who need to be involved, understand how the issues they are addressing interconnect, and design strategies that advance climate, nature and equity together.
We support organisations across the full policy-to-practice spectrum: analysing and strengthening national commitments (NDCs, NBSAPs, NAPs), creating advocacy strategies and knowledge products for COPs under the UNFCCC, CBD and UNCCD, and providing guidance for conservation and restoration initiatives across forest ecosystems that integrate current science with rights-based and participatory approaches from the outset.
